Our History

More Diagnostics was founded in 1985 by Jim Snipes, a biochemist who was an early pioneer of control materials for the IVD market. He successfully developed and marketed the first truly stable and reliable CKMB control. When laboratories running cyclosporine controls on HPLC needed a dependable and accurate control, More Diagnostics developed a stable liquid whole-blood cyclosporine control which became the standard in the industry.

This led to focusing on the research and development of the full range of controls for immunosuppressant drug monitoring assays in support of the expanding organ transplant procedures world-wide. All controls are human preparations that can be run side by side with patient samples through all phases of test method.

Upon his retirement in 2013, Jim transferred his ownership to an employee-owned corporation. The company continues the tradition of providing innovative and creative solutions that allow the laboratories to obtain highly accurate results when running critical tests on an array of systems.

We offer quality controls for clinical diagnostics, featuring reliable specialty immunosuppressant and cardiac controls that have an excellent shelf life on a wide variety of methods. The products are conceived in an on-site research and development department and manufactured under stringent quality control criteria. More Diagnostics is committed to ensuring accurate results in your lab.
